Six films begin in June

The shooting of�six Malayalam films�(Mammootty's Loudspeaker, Jayaram's Kaanakanmani, Suresh Gopi's Ekadasi, Saranya Mohan's Chemistry and Kalabhavan Mani's Caribbeans) will begin in June.

According to sources, Loudspeaker, directed Jayaraj, will start rolling from June 15 at Thrissur. Bollywood actress Gracy Singh is confirmed to be the heroine. Penned and produced by the director himself in association with Moser Baer Entertainments, Loudspeaker has Mammootty donning the role of 'Mike Gopalan', who always�talks very loudly.

Jayaram's Akku Akbar directed Kaanakanmani is all set to begin from June 18 at Koottikkanam, Eranakulam and Palakkad. Padmapriya is the heroine. Produced by Anto Joseph under the banner of Anne Media, the movie is scripted by K. Gireeshkumar.

National Award winning actor Suresh Gopi's Ekadasi, directed by Ashok R. Nath with Navya Nair and Shobhana in major roles, begins on June 19 at Thiruvananthapuram. Produced by Sandeep under the banner of Nandhikkal Cinemas, the film is based a village story scripted by Anil Mukhathala.

Director Viji Thampy's Chemistry, produced by Nagaraj under the banner of Vaishnavi Creations, is expected to begin by the last week of June at Ankamali. It has five young girls in key roles. While Saranya Mohan and Shilpa Bala (Orkkuka Vallappozhum fame) have been finalized, the others are yet to be fixed.

Caribbeans, directed by Irshad and produced by Nanda Kumar under the banner of of Nandana Films, will begin on June 15 at Thiruvananthapuram. Kalabhavan Mani will appear in three roles. Swetha Menon and Sindhu Menon are the heroines. Suman and Biju Menon have meaty roles in this film penned by Suresh Pathiseri.
