Prithviraj's Pathiramanal
Pathiramanal is�Prithviraj's next film, to be directed by Padma Kumar. Produced by Shaji Nadesan under the banner of Bravo films, Pathiramanal will have its regular shooting from August at Marayur and Alapuzha. According to sources, Kalabhavan Mani will be the villain. The heroine is not yet finalized.
The story is about a private financer Jeevan,�who lives in a hill station with his mother, who had become mentally challenged after she was assaulted and raped by a police constable during Jeevan's childhood.�His mother�conceived from the constable's rape�and gave birth to a baby girl. Jeevan hates the baby girl from the very moment of its birth.
As he grows up, Jeevan reaches Pathiramanal, a place in Kuttanad, in a search of the constable to take revenge on him, where he meets Sara. Slowly, he�realizes that Sara is none other than the daughter of the constable. What happens next is the rest of the film.
Also in the cast are Manikuttan, Nedumudi Venu, Murali, Salim Kumar, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Archana and others. Gireesh Puthencherry has penned the lyrics and Sarath will score the music. Manoj Pillai will wield the camera. Babu Janardhanan is the man behind the screenplay.
