Nayantara declines pay for Electra?
Nayantara�is�reportedly fed up with stereotyped glam-girl roles that pay well but give�her little scope to�display her acting prowess. Hence, the actress is busy listening to story after story in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam, hoping that her dream�role will come her way. Considering her early movies, one can see that she showed a lot of promise as an actress who could deliver�powerful performances�in suitable roles. But somewhere down the line, she took the wrong turn down glam lane and it’s taken a while for her to resurface.�Now we hear that she has signed up for�Electra, a Malayalam movie to be directed by award-winning film-maker Shyama Prasad.�Electra is based on a Greek play and�centred around Alexandra, to be played by Nayantara. But the other related rumour�is that she has not only consented to do the movie, but she has agreed to work for free!
