The movie pooja of Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Jilla was held in Chennai today morning. The film is produced by veteran RB Chowdhary under his Supergood Films banner and directed by debutant Nesan. The film also has an ensemble cast list which includes Mollywood superstar Mohanlal, Kajal Aggarwal, Santhanam, Nassar, Lakshmi Rai, Mahat, Thambi Ramaiah, Soori and Poornima Bhagyaraj (who is making a comeback to Kollywood). Imman is the the music director while Madhan Karky has been roped in to pen the lyrics. The film is touted to be an mass masala entertainer in typical Vijay style.
The movie is scheduled for a Diwali release and the shooting will kick start in May-June. The team also launched the logo of Jilla during the pooja ceremony.
