International Kashmir Film Festival 2014 enthralled the audience totally.  Megastar Mammootty was presented the Lifetime Achievement award for his contribution to the Indian cinema. Mammootty’s latest flick Balyakalasakhi was the only Malayalam movie which was screened at the festival.
 

Balyakalasakhi won two awards; for script and direction.  The four day festival began on August 22. Experimental Moving Images and Theatre Association (XMITA) in collaboration with the state's tourism department organized this festival.
