If the reports are to be believed Karthika Nair will be play the lead role in Leela replacing Ann Augustine. The film is being directed by Renjith and is expected to commence soon. Karthika daughter of yesteryear actress Radha, made her Mollywood debut with Makaramanju.
It is said that Ann Augustine backed out of the projects due to date issues.
