Actors from the Malayalam film industry were honoured on the third day  of the centenary celebrations of cinema in Chennai. Actor Kamal Haasan thanked the Malayalam film industry for giving him opportunities that shaped his career. Mammootty and Mohanlal presented the living legends of Malayalam cinema awards to PK Kaimal, Sarada, Sheela, TR Omana and Hariharan.

Dance numbers were performed by Isha Sherwani, Remya Nambeesan, Meera Nandan,Vishnupriya, Shweta Menon, Nazriya Nazim, Sura, Mia and Vineeth. Actresses Sarada, TR Omana, Sheela, Suhasini, Urvasi, Poornima, Madhavi, KPAC Lalitha, Vidhubala, Mohan and singer KS Chitra took part in this star studded celebration.
