While the Malayalam film industry is making a lot of commercial cinema, actor / producer / distributor Dileep has said that nobody in the industry can sustain without doing commercial films. Dileep, who does both commercial and experimental ventures, has also said that he studied this as an actor, producer and distributor. Though he is happy about the fact that Malayalam movies touch subjects that we don't even bother to talk at home, he is however unsure of these so called commercial flicks, which are influenced by Hollywood movies.
