I.V. Sasi's Vellathooval
Veteran Irruppam Veedu Sasidaran, better known as I.V. Sasi, who holds the record for having directed the most movies in Malayalam (nearly 150), will soon direct�Vellathooval to be produced C.M. Raji by under the banner of Anugraha Films. Presented by V.B.K. Menon, the film will have two newcomers in the lead roles.
The script is by John Paul while cinematography by Ananthakkuttan. Girish Puthenchery-Johnson team deals with the music; the film�also has Lalu Alex, Jagathy, Ganeesh, Revathy, Seema, Swetha Menon in the cast. Editing is by P.C. Mohanan. The shooting will start on December 12 at the locations of Munaar, Thodupuzha, Vagaman and Kochi.
Starting his film career as an art director, I.V. Sasi debuted as director with Ulsavam (1975) and shot to fame after Avalude Ravukal (1978). His last film was Balram vs Tharadas (2006), a big budget film, starring superstar Mammootty and Bollywood sensation Kathrina Kaif in the lead.
