Film with no film stars
Director Suresh Unnithan, in association with the Association of Television Media Artists (ATMA), is making a film with no film stars! Don’t panic; it means that the cast would comprise only TV actors!
Suresh Unnithan told a press conference in Thiruvananthapuram on Tuesday that only actors from TV serials would be considered for roles in this yet-to-be-finalised movie.
Actor K.B. Ganesh Kumar said that the proposed film would set an example in cost-effectiveness and adherence to a good story and script. "The greatest shortcoming of Malayalam Cinema these days is the lack of good stories. We invite anyone with a good story to approach us," he added. Actor Ravi Vallathol was also present on the occasion.
