Suraj dons the role of�unemployed Sivankutty, who tries his luck in many business ventures, but fails miserably. To earn a living, he finally begins to play pranks on others. One day, Sivan Kutty borrows some gold ornaments from his own sister with the promisethat he would return them within a few days.
When he fails to keep this promise, he returns�spurious ornaments. Without knowing this, Nalini's husband tries to sell the ornaments,�gets into trouble with the person who is buying them and is�arrested by the police. The film takes a different turn from this point.
Amritha (Monika) and Maithili are the heroines. Also in the cast are Innocent, Lalu Alex, Salim Kumar, Bheeman Raghu, Bijukuttan, Jaffer Idukki, Maniyan Pillai Raju, Praveena, Indrans, Aiswarya, Ambika Mohan and others.
