Calendar on May 14
Prithviraj's long-delayed hilarious�project Calendar by character actor-turned-director Mahesh has been finally scheduled to grace theatres on May 14. Navya Nair is the heroine.
Produced by Saji Nandhiat under the banner of Nandhiat films, Calender marks the re-entry of heart-robbing Bollywood heroine Zarina Wahab, who appeared in many unforgettable roles in Malayalam films like Elizabeth in Madanolsavam (1978), Usha in Palangal (1981), Savitha in Saravarsham (1982).
In Calendar, Zarina plays a character named Thangam George, a widowed professor who lives for her only daughter Kochu Rani (Navya Nair). Other cast members include Mukesh, Jagadheesh, Jagathy, Vijayaraghavan, Mallika Sukumaran and Suraj Venjaaramoodu. Babu Janardhanan has penned the screen play. Lyrics are by Anil Panachooran. Afsal Yousuf has scored the music.
