Brahmasthram is complete
The shoot of Brahmasthram, directed by V. Somanath, has been completed. Produced�under the banner of V.S. Productions, the film has Dhanya, Aniruddh (Saiju Kurup) and Vijayaraghavan playing the lead roles.
Brahmasthram tells the story of a boatman, whose only daughter Sindhu happens to be the is the victim of ragging and rape by some of the rich recalcitrant students in her medical college. No one supports Sindhu as the culprits are from very rich families. Due to�pressure from Sindhu and her father, Superintendent of Police Indrajith is appointed to investigate the case. How he wins the case in the court forms the rest of the film.
Dhanya dons the role of Sindhu, while Aniruddh plays the S.P. Indrajith. Vijayaraghavan is cast in the role of an MLA. Also in the cast are Jagathy, Madhu, Suraj, Rajan P. Dev, Kollam Thulasi, Idavela Babu, Atlas Rama Chandran, Maidhili, Kanakalatha and others.
R.H. Ashok wields the camera. Vijaya Krishna and Somasekahran have scored the music for lyrics penned by Vayalar Sarath Chandra Varma, Hariharan and Anil Vadanamkurussi.
