Upcoming Tamil actor Shanthnoo Bhagyaraj's first Malayalam film Angel John, being directed by Jayasuriya and produced by K.K. Narayanan under the banner Creative Team, was earlier scheduled to grace screens on October 18. According to new reports, the film will be released much earlier, on October 2.
Starring Malayalam super star Mohanlal as Shanthnoo's father, the film has two heroines: Nithya Menon (Aakashagopuram fame) and Mamtha Mohandas. Mohanlal’s old romantic pair Ambika (Rajavinte Makan) will play Shanthnoo’s mother. Also in the cast are Lalu Alex, Vijayaraghavan, Baiju, Bijukuttan, Jagathy and Sona Nair.
Cinematographed by Ajayan Vincent (noted for his amazing camera work in the recent Bhramaram), the film has music by�National Award winning music director Ouseappachan and will be distributed by Max Lab.
