Director Priya Belliappa’s upcoming project Ring Road Shubha has been facing a lot of controversies. The film’s title and story line have been subject to controversy right from the time of inception. The film revolves around the real murder incident of Shubha, which happened at the Ring Road.

 

The makers have decided to rename the movie title and also the lead character’s name. A source close to the unit has confirmed this news.

 

"The makers are now thinking of renaming the heroine and, in turn, the film itself. The lead actress may now be called Shobha or Suma — something that will phonetically sound similar to Shubha while dubbing. This is something they're looking at, before they release the film," says the source.
