While the grand 50 days function of Ram Charan's recent hit Racha is set to take place in Kurnool, the trade analysts said that this Sampath Nandhi directed film has collected Rs. 15 crores from  Karnataka.

Though the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce (KFCC) had restricted the release of non-Kannada films to 24 theatres, the Competition Commission of India (CCI) recently imposed a fine on KFCC for obstructing ‘free trade’, setting the gates wide open for the state-wide release of non-Kannada films.

With this development, Racha could be released in more than 90 screens in Karnataka. According to trade circles, it was the main reason that the film could collect up to Rs. 15 crores from the state.
