Model and actor Ganesh Venkatraman, who is well known to the Tamil audiences through films Abhiyum Naanum and Unnaipol Oruvan, debuts in Sandalwood through the movie Chandra, which stars Shriya and Prem in lead roles. The movie is directed by Roopa Iyer.
Ganesh, who plays an US based guy in the film said that he was not worried about sharing screen space with the film’s lead Prem, as he had a vital role to play in the movie. The star also said that the movie was a love triangle. The actor added that he would be learning Kannada before starting his shooting portions.
Shriya plays a princess in the movie. The movie also stars veteran actors like Girish Karnad and Ramya Krishnan. The shooting of the movie is expected to take place in New York, Bangalore and Mysore.
