The cinematic world woke up to a shocking news as legendary director J Mahendran passed away on Tuesday morning (April 2). Mahendran's health condition had been very critical for the past few weeks and he was under medication at a private hospital in Chennai. The mortal remains of the veteran will be kept for public homage in the morning and the last rites will be performed at 5.00 pm on Tuesday at his residence in Pallikaranai.
