Popular South African television actresses Jay Anstey and Reandi Grey have announced that they will be turning mothers soon with their respective partners. Known for starring in the hit South African television drama telenovela series Legacy, the two stars share a close bond both on and off screen. Anstey and Grey, who play sisters Lexi and Elizabeth on Legacy, took to social media and showed off their baby bumps in a maternity photoshoot, with the black and white pictures receiving a huge feedback from fans who have been sending in their wishes. 

In the latest pictures, we see Anstey and Grey in flowing maxi dresses and holding a placard board with the message: "Besties and future besties". Sharing the photo, Jay revealed that her baby is due in December, while Reandi, who is a mother to a two-year-old daughter, is expecting her second child in January 2022. Anstey captioned her tweet, "I swear we didn’t plan this". Reandi too posted the same picture including another photo on Instagram and added the caption: "@jayanstey I cannot wait for you to be stuck with me for the rest of your life! And, just to make sure, I added another generation!" She further added, "Thank you to all the beautiful and incredibly talented people who captured this super special time we as friends get to experience together!!" 

As of now, it is not clear if Jay and Reandi's pregnancies will be written into the storyline of Legacy. The show will include new faces in the second season that will soon premiere among whom also include media personality and actress Lalla Hirayama. She will be joining names like 7de laan's Vinette Ebrahim, Nico Panagio, and André Lötter among others.
