Pakistani model and actress Veena Malik, who makes her debut in Sandalwood with Dirty Picture: Silk Sakkath Maga, has gained a few kilograms for the film, as the makers requested her to gain some weight.
“I had to put on five kg for the role because the script demanded so. Size zero does not exist here in South. I was 48 kgs, now I am 53 kg,” Veena said.
The shooting of the film is currently progressing in Bengaluru. Dirty Picture: Silk Sakkath Maga, directed by Trishul, stars Akshay as the hero.
It may be recalled that actress Vidya Balan gained a few kilograms for the Hindi film The Dirty Picture. Reports state that Dirty Picture: Silk Sakkath Maga is a remake of the Hindi version, but the makers of the Kannada version have denied the reports about it.
