Aishwarya Rai's look-alike Sneha Ullal, who was avoiding Kannada films for a while mainly because of her busy schedules in Telugu, has finally confirmed that she will make her debut in Kannada with London Gowda opposite superstar Upendra.
Sneha Ullal is said to have been highly impressed by the script written by Upendra. The actor has also penned the story, screenplay and dialogues for London Gowda.
Earlier, it was rumoured that Sneha would enter Kannada through Golden star Ganesh's Ullasa Uttsaha, a remake of her Telugu movie Ullasamga Uttsahamga, but she dropped out for unknown reasons.
London Gowda revolves around an illiterate chap who migrates to London and becomes a learned dude. Debutant Yateesh Alva is the director. The film will have music by V. Manohar of Tharle Nanmaga fame. Santhosh Rai Pathaje is the cameraman. Produced by N.R. Shetty under his�N.R. Films banner, the film will commence its shooting by the third week of May.
