Shriya Saran has been finalized as the leading lady in Roopa Iyer’s Chandra. After a lot of speculation in choosing the female lead, Roopa has finally cast Shriya, and she will be playing a queen in the film. Shriya will pair opposite Prem in the movie. Earlier, Divya Spandana who was expected to play the female lead in Chandra, walked out of the film, due to certain issues.
The shooting of the movie will commence on May 10 and a special event has also been planned on that day. A dance program and a beauty contest will take place on that day.
