Comedian Rangayana Raghu, who performed some rib-tickling sequences in the recently released Anna Bond, is all set to tickle our funny bones again. The actor plays a politician in Breaking News, starring Radhika Pandit and Ajay Rao, which is a satirical comedy.
Sources state that Rangayana’s character in the film is quite similar to former BJP minister Katta Subramanya Naidu. On being quizzed about the comedian’s similarity to the minister, the film’s director Nagathihalli Chandrashekar said that the actor plays a corrupt politician in the movie, and his resemblance to the former minister is purely coincidental.
Breaking News revolves around the concept of Indian news channels, which compete with each other, for their TRPs. The movie also focuses on land scams, and politicians arrest issues.
