Bangalore girl Nisha Shetty who started her film career in Sandalwood through the film Galatte, is excited about her Tollywood debut Friends Book that is ready for release. Friends Book will be dubbed and released in Tamil as well. The story revolves around a social networking website.
On being quizzed about her Telugu debut, Nisha said, “It is a youth-oriented subject made on the lines of Happy Days. The film is about the life of five youngsters.”
Talking about the struggles faced by newcomers in Sandalwood, Nisha said, "The opportunities for local girls in Sandalwood are very less and the Kannada film industry doesn't accept newcomers easily. You should be able to deliver a hit in your first film, otherwise you will not be noticed. It has not been an easy task for me and that is why I have been using the opportunities I am receiving from the other film industries.”
The actress also signed a yet untitled Telugu film opposite Varun Sandesh that will commence its shooting soon.
