It looks like Golden Star Ganesh is quite upset with the media. The actor is avoiding film events and not talking to the media. Sources state that it is due to the recent failures of his films at the box office.

On being quizzed about the reason for avoiding film events, Ganesh said, “I am committed to acting and not socializing. When people want to catch up, they come to my shooting location. For me, it's more important to act in films than other things.”

On being quizzed about the reason for the failure of his last release Munjaane, Ganesh said, “Munjaane was the director's film. The film failed, because the director Narayan didn't keep up his promise. What I was told during the narration and what I saw on-screen was different. Even while shooting for the film, I told Narayan that the aura is missing, but he didn't listen to it.”

“Ultimately, if a film fails, it's only the actor who's blamed. But, I'm not going to take responsibility for the failure of Munjaane.” he added.

It may be recalled that director S. Narayan announced his retirement from direction after Munjaane. On being quizzed about the director's retirement, Ganesh said, “He's the better judge of his life and career. Who am I to talk about it? I've never spoken ill of him.”

Ganesh is currently shooting for Romeo. He has also been finalized as the male lead for a movie, to be directed by Abhay Simha.
