Real Star Upendra, has done three different roles of a father and two sons, in his recent movie Godfather. In the movie, the father Upendra is a Bharatanatyam dancer, and according to him this character was the most difficult and challenging one, as the character had various times and shades. Uppi is now lauded by critics for his dedicated effort to exhibit professional Bharatanatyam for Rahman's classical number 'Nannede Shrutiyolage Olavina Naadavide Gelati', in the movie. He had to work more than a month to master the nuances of the dance form, he said in an interview with a leading newspaper. He also feels happy that his efforts are recognised and appreciated by people from all quarters.

Looks like Uppi is really feeling complete as an actor, after Godfather.
