Veena Malik, who was expected to join the photo shoot of her Kannada debut film Dirty Picture: Silk Sakkath Maga on May 18 in Bangalore, could not join the team due to the CBI enquiry and other legal formalities. And this delay has cost the Kannada Dirty Picture filmmaker Rs. 6.5 lakhs approximately.
As Veena is a Pakistani, she has to get permission from the Indian government, for each state she visits in India. The actress has permissions to visit 11 Indian cities already, but her visa to visit Bangalore has expired recently. So, the actress was busy with the CBI enquiry session, and could not join the photo shoot as expected.
Producer Venkatappa had arranged a huge set at Abhay Naidu for the photo shoot on May 18. He had also booked a five star hotel, for the actress and her assistants.
But, sources state that Veena has agreed to bear the losses incurred by the producer. Also, the photo shoot is expected to take place on May 24 or May 25.
