Model Deeptii Mohan, who is the former Miss Sandalwood (2010), is all set to debut in the Kannada film industry now. The model has been finalized as the leading lady in the National Award winning director Girish Kasaravalli’s next untitled project. She will pair opposite Pratap Jain, who is also making his debut in Sandalwood.
On being quizzed about making her debut in Sandalwood, Deeptii said, “In April, this year, when I was judging a contest, I met Girish Kasaravalli’s sister who recommended me to him. Kasaravalli was looking for a fresh face to play a small town girl in his forthcoming film and found me apt for the role. I can’t reveal the name now, as Girish sir will be announcing it soon.”
Deeptii said that the movie is a fun film and she feels happy about bagging a woman-centric role in the film.
