Deepa Sannidhi, who was earlier finalized as one of the three female leads in Bachchan, has opted out of the film recently. Sources state that director Shashank made several changes to the script after finalizing the leads and when the filmmaker narrated the reworked script to Deepa, she was not satisfied. So, the actress was not willing to accept the role and she walked out of the film.
Talking about Deepa, the filmmaker said, “To change the script and to make Deepa leave the project was not intentional and definitely not an insult to the Kannada film industry. I do see her as one of the most promising newcomers in Kannada cinema, and look forward to working with her in future.”
On being quizzed about walking out of Bachchan, Deepa said, “As per the new version, my character was completely different from the earlier narration. I don't think I'd be able to do justice to what they have in mind now. So it was a mutual decision to not work together on this film.”
Bachchan stars Sudeep in the lead role. Bhavana and Parul are the other heroines, and also stars 3 villains. The movie’s shooting is currently progressing in Karnataka.
