It was earlier Reported that the upcoming Varun Dhawan Starrer Street Dancer went through a huge casting change. Katrina Kaif who was initially roped in for the project had opted out of the film because of date issues as Street Dancers date were clashing with the shooting date of the Salman Khan starrer Bharat where Katrina plays the leading lady. 

Post-Katrina's exit, It is now reported that the makers of the film had roped in Saaho star Shraddha Kapoor. Now confirming the same Shraddha Kapoor shared, “I’m excited to reunite with Remo sir, Prabhu Deva sir, and Varun after ABCD 2. 

Speaking about the venture, producer of Street Dancer, and head of T-Series, Bhushan Kumar, reveals that the plan is to make India’s biggest dance film in 3D. Speaking about the film, it will be shot in Punjab and UK. However, the major chunk will be shot in the UK and the Punjab shooting will go on floors later this month.
