For film fans of the past, Vinod Khanna needs no introduction. He is the heartthrob of Hindi cinema and young people may understand better as he is like the Ranbir Kapoor of the 1970s and the 1980s.

The late actor entered into Bollywood in 1968 with Mann Ka Meet. Vinod Khanna is known for his amazingly good looks and acting in films like Amar Akbar Anthony, Qurbani, Jurm and Mere Apne.

He has also won the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement award in 1999. The actor had a long role to play in politics as well while focusing on movies now and then. When his health started failing due to cancer, he slowly took a break from work in 2016. Vinod Khanna is survived by his wife Kavita Khanna, three sons and a daughter.
