Last Saturday, on the 18th of May, actor turned director Raghava Lawrence had tweeted that he will be stepping down as director for the upcoming Akshay Kumar-starrer Laxmi Bomb. He said that he will not be part of this Hindi remake of Kollywood hit Kanchana because he was disrespected by the team. That was exactly the day when Akshay Kumar had released the first look of Laxmi Bomb. Soon after the first look launch, Raghava Lawarence had announced about leaving the project.


Raghava Lawrence had also informed his fans that he wasn’t informed about the first look launch. He apparently didn’t like the first look as well. It must be known that Laxmi Bomb is the remake of Raghava Lawrence’s 2011 horror film Kanchana which turned out to be a smashing hit. And we were expecting him to repeat the success once again with the Hindi version, this issue happened.

Now what’s the status? Apparently, the makers of Laxmi Bomb are flying to Chennai today, May 26 to meet Raghava Lawrence and talk about the differences. He has now issued another statement. Check this out:
