Raghava Lawrence's Kanchana 3 is a blockbuster hit the box office that has impressed the family audience. Post the success of this film, Lawrence was announced to helm the Hindi remake of Kanchana with Bollywood star Akshay Kumar and Kiara Advani in the lead roles. The remake was titled as Laxmmi Bomb and the first look poster was released two weeks back. That is when controversy hit the news.

Raghava Lawrence made a shocking announcement that he is walking out of Laxmmi Bomb since he wasn't given the basic respect on the grounds of humanity and as a filmmaker. He said that the first look poster was released without even his knowledge and it also didn't have his name. Though the fans were shocked with Lawrence's decision, he received positive reception from people for his bold decision and placing self-respect at the first place.

Later developments suggested that the production team of Laxmmi Bomb would be coming down to Chennai to meet Lawrence and make him convince to get back to the project. It looks like the meeting has ended on a successful note as the award-winning dancer took to his Twitter space to inform that he is back into the team of Laxmmi Bomb. Lawrence stated that he would resume directing the Hindi remake of Kanchana as the makers understood his feelings and sorted it out.

Lawrence, in his official note, said, "Hi dear friends and fans. As you wished, I would like to let you know that I am back on board as the director of Laxmmi Bomb. A big thank you to Akshay Kumar sir for understanding my feelings and sorting all issues, another thank you to my producer Shabinaa Khan for the same. Thanks to both for giving me respect. I am really happy to be a part of the film again with Akshay sir. Thank you all."
