B-towns most prestigious awards ceremony, The 60th National Film Awards that where held recently, saw all the biggies of Bollywood gather together, to celebrate the likes being honoured for their proficient works.

Best Animation Film: Delhi Safari, director Nikhil Advani

Best Film: Vicky Donor

Best Actor: Irrfan Khan, Paan Singh Tomar

Best Actress: Usha Jadhav, Dhaag (Marathi)

Best Male Play Back Singer: Shankar Mahadevan

Special Jury Awards: Parineeti Chopra and Nawazuddin Siddiqui

The latest buzz is that, director Nikhil Advani has plans to rope in these award winners for his upcoming feature film D-Day, which is based on gangster Dawood Ibrahim. Slated to release this year, the film will star Irrfan Khan along with Rishi Kapoor and Arjun Rampal, who have also won National Awards, earlier. In the female lead will be Huma Qureshi and Shruthi Haasan. Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy will score the music for this film.

With the 1993 serial blast victims shouting out for justice, the film by itself has been getting all the attention, as it revolves around the same subject.
