Looks like Bollywood has caught the biopic fever.

After starting with Milkha Singh, a biopic on Mary Kom is on floors. And what we here now, is that Ekta Kapoor is looking into making a biopic on former Indian cricket captain Mohammad Azharuddin. Though Azar is known to have had the best wrists in the game, he did have a rough phase, when he was accused of match-fixing in 2000.

We hear, the film-maker has already started serious work on this. She has roped in The Dirty Picture writer Rajat Arora to work on the script for the film. We hear Ekta has paid the cricketer a huge sum for acquiring the story rights. She is yet to decide on the lead actor, though. However, nothing can be confirmed until the ace makes an official statement about this.
