The past few years have seen the most number of biopics produced in Indian Cinema, and Bollywood has  been a huge contributor to it. Bollywood is not new to the formula of biopics, in fact it seems to have taken a huge leap forward with biographical films. 2016 alone saw 8 biopics releasing, including MS Dhoni: The Untold Story, Sachin- A billion dreams etc. Immortalizing the lives of people on silver screen has been quite the trend, and we're totally for this, because not only does this give the audience an insight into the struggles that these personalities have overcome, but also in most cases brings out a quality end product and an unforgettable cinema experience.
