Earlier in January this year, we had reported acclaimed Hollywood filmmaker, Christopher Nolan would be visiting India to participate in an event that would shed light on the preservation of celluloid film in the current digital era.

The news was then first revealed by iconic Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan on his blog, who will most likely be hosting the Reframing the Future of Film event at the Tata Theater in Mumbai in the next few days.

That being said, film aficionados across the country now have more reasons to rejoice as it is being reported ace filmmaker Mani Ratnam and actor turned politician Kamal Haasan will also take part in an interaction session with Christopher Nolan.

The mega event will also reportedly witness some of the top names in the film fraternity from across the nation including 'Bollywood Baadshah' Shah Rukh Khan.

'Mr. Perfectionist' Aamir Khan too is expected to take part in the event considering the actor had showered praises on Nolan for his film, Inception, in 2010.

Iconic Indian filmmaker Shyam Benegal too will reportedly be seen in the event, which aims to emphasize the importance of film and celluloid.

Ace pan-Indian cinematographer Santosh Sivan’s name too has popped up as one of the attendees for the said event.

Acclaimed Bollywood filmmaker, Anurag Kashyap, who has a starring role in Nayanthara’s upcoming film, Imaikkaa Nodigal, too is reportedly scheduled to attend the event.

In addition, Farhan Akhtar, the man behind films such as Dil Chahta Hai, Lakshya and the Don franchise is also expected to be part of the event.

Furthermore, a special 70MM IMAX screening of Chris Nolan’s Academy Award-winning film, Dunkirk, is to be shown.
