Zoya Akhtar, known for making successful films like Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, has now pledged her support for breast cancer awareness, with a commercial starring five leading men including Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, Abhay Deol, Farhan Akhtar and Shahid Kapoor.

She has made a public service advertisement (PSA) that tells men to save women from breast cancer. She once again wears the hat of a director, but this time for a social cause. The commercial is titled, "Because My World Is Not The Same". Zoya comments, "I am a filmmaker and just using my filmmaking skills to contribute my bit to spread awareness about the deadly disease. I don't look at it as if I am contributing towards the cause." The Ad is shot for Ogaan Cancer Foundation and will be released both online and on television, next week.

Through this ad campaign, the 37-year-old aims to tell people that breast cancer is not only a girl's problem and is not something that women need to discuss only with other women only. Its not only the woman who faces it and suffers, but its her entire family that suffers. It is a humanity problem. Zoya says, "We have always seen woman in advertisements saying that they are responsible for taking care of their husband and children's health. But now it's time for men to take care of the women in their lives and ask them if they have got themselves checked."

Since cancer is not discriminated between gender, Zoya has cast men in the advertisement. The ad is made in four different lengths - 30, 40, 60, 90 seconds respectively and has no script. Each of the actors were interviewed and there was no ready script as such.

Lets hope that the ad gets through to the society well, and people hear and understand its message.
