Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput died by suicide on June 14 and his unfortunate demise has created a discussion among a lot of people. According to reports, the Chhichhore actor was battling depression and mental stress problems for the past few months. There were also reports that stated that Sushant was in a financial crisis and didn’t have any project signed after Dil Bechara (his last film). However, it looks like the reports were false. According to the report on Pinkvilla, Sushant had allotted dates until mid-2021 and was charging a fee of Rs 8 crores.

It is said that a few producers were ready to pay even higher remuneration. Talking to Pinkvilla, Sushant’s close friend and an industry insider said, “Sushant wasn't going through financial trouble as is being discussed. He had a few films lined up and a few more in discussion. From what I know, his dates were all booked till mid-next year. If he signed the other two films, he would have had five projects by 2022. He was also charging to the tune of Rs 8 crore per project.

There were two producers who were planning to meet him later this month. Since he wasn't in touch with them, they had spoken to one of his close buddies and even shared how they would love to pay him to the tune of Rs 11 crore for their film, a riveting drama." The Police officials are investigating the case and securing evidences to find the possible reasons behind the suicide. Stay tuned.
