Siddharth's Striker to premiere on YouTube

For the first time, Telugu star Siddharth's upcoming Hindi flick Striker will be released�on YouTube on the same day as its theatrical release date. The film’s producers, Indian Films, have tied up with YouTube to premiere Striker in the US on February 5. It will be made available to viewers in other countries – excluding India and Pakistan – the following day.

However, this doesn't come free. US viewers will need to pay $4.99 to watch the two-hour film on streaming video online.�Viewers in other countries, excluding India and Pakistan, can watch Striker for free.

Striker is about a young carrom champ�Surya Kant. As he grows up and looks for a job, he is duped by an employment agency that had lured him with a Dubai posting. How carrom ultimately helps him overthrow this man (who has been the reason for the misery of several people) forms the crux of the story. Striker, a small budget movie, is directed by Chandan Arora. Popular South Indian actress Padmapriya makes her Bollywood debut through Striker.
