The International Indian Film Acadamey awards began in Singapore yesterday. The 13th awards ceremony was winessed by top Bollywood celebrities and South Super Star Kamal Haasan. Zoya Akhtar's Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara won four awards in Best film, best story, best actor in Supporting role for Farhan Akhtar and Best director categories. While, Imtiaz Ali's Rockstar also won awards for Best music director for A. R. Rahman, best lyrics and best play back singer for Mohit Chauhan. Ranbir Kapoor bagged the best actor award for Rockstar, and again Vidya won the best actress for The Dirty Picture. Shreya Ghosal won the best female play back singer for 'Teri Meri' in Bodyguard.
 
Parineeti Chopra was all surprised when she won two awards for best female debut and best actress in supporting role for Ladies V/S Ricky Bahl.  Veteran actress Rekha was honored for her outstanding achievement in Indian cinema, and Norwegian actress Liv Ullmann was given an award for her contribution to international cinema. Though the awards function was star studded still it was lacking because of the absence of Hrithik Roshan, Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor and, Katrina Kaif.
