Southern star Taapsee Pannu is all set to make her big step into Bollywood with Chashme Baddoor, a remake of the 1981 hit film that starred Farooq Shaikh and Deepti Naval.

As the film is nearing its release on April 5, the talented actress is pretty confident about her debut film, as she thinks remakes are safe."Remakes are made on a larger scale today. Be it from old to new or from South to Bollywood. People think we can transform it as per the requirement. It's a tried and tested formula,” she adds.

Having done many films in both Tamil and Telugu, Taapsee who has now taken a big turn into Bollywood says she will not quit the South Industry.

In her debut, Taapsee will be seen along with Ali Zafar, Siddharth and Divyendu Sharma.
