Dhanush is the most happening star in tinsel town, in recent times! He has been announcing projects left, right and centre and also working on them non-stop! He had 3 releases in 2019, in Asuran, Enai Noki Paayum Thota and Pattas! It was then announced that Dhanush would be joining Akshay Kumar and Sara Ali Khan for his next Bollywood movie - Atrangi Re! Close on the heels of this announcement, came an update on his next project - #D43! It was announced by Dhanush himself that he would be joining hands with young filmmaker Karthick Naren, of Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru fame, for #D43, to be bankrolled by the Sathya Jyothi Films banner with GV Prakash scoring the music!

We now have an exciting update on this project! This was revealed in an exclusive interview given to Galatta Media jointly by Karthick Naren and Prasanna! Yes! Prasanna is a part of the cast of D43! In an interview about Karthick Naren's upcoming movie Mafia: Chapter 1, which has Prasanna playing the antagonist, there was a mention of Karthick Naren's current and next movie stars being together, in a photo of Dhanush and Prasanna celebrating Holi together. Responding to this, the young director revealed about how he met Dhanush on the sets of Pattas and how the Asuran star immediately made him feel comfortable, with his warm welcome.

When Karthick Naren finished telling about his meeting with Dhanush, Prasanna pointed out that he was in that photo "ALSO". At this point, Karthick Naren mentioned that just like in his movies, he was going to let the people connect the dots and arrive at the conclusion. This confirms that Prasanna is a part of #D43 too! Prasanna played an important role in Dhanush's directorial debut Power Paandi. Karthick Naren's Mafia: Chapter 1, with Arun Vijay, Priya Bhavani Shankar and Prasanna, is all set to hit the screens on February 21st! It is really exciting to see what kind of story Dhanush and Karthick Naren are going to bring to life on screen!
