Sound engineer Nimish Chheda passed away in a tragic accident, recently.

The young talent is well-known in both the Marathi and Hindi film industries. He was working on Shilpa Shetty's Dishkiyaoon, when he was driving back home. His car hit a dumper near the Kherwadi signal and he lost control of his car which crashed into a divider. He was rushed to the Raheja hospital at Mahim, where he started showing signs of recovery. But sadly after a few days, he contracted meningitis.

He is popular for his work in Go Goa Gone, Saawariya, Kaminey, Johnny Gaddar and Namastey London to name a few. He also worked for Anil Kapoor's popular TV serial 24.

Nimish is survived by wife Yagna and 15-month old daughter Saira.
