The 'Mashallah' girl, Katrina Kaif is currently in talks with filmmaker Ketan Mehta for his upcoming project, Noor. The movie is said to be based on the story of a spy who was killed by the Nazis in World War II. Born in Moscow and raised in England, Noor Inayat Khan was a British spy working for the Allied Forces during World War II. The princess was born to Hazrat Inayat Khan, the great grandson of Tipu Sultan. The Princess found herself a man but decided to give up on love for her cause. She was caught, tortured and killed by the Nazis. A number of books have been written on this brave woman.

One of the sources mentions, “Katrina will be playing princess Noor Inayat Khan in Ketan Mehta’s bio-pic on Tipu Sultan’s great-great-granddaughter.” However, when the two-time National Award winner filmmaker was asked to substantiate the rumour, he said, “All I can say at this stage is that a top actress is playing Noor Inayat.”

The filmmaker, Ketan Mehta, admits he is in talks with actress Katrina Kaif to play legendary World War II spy Noor Inayat Khan in his ambitious project, Noor. When asked about the project, Katrina commented saying, "It's too early to comment. I am in the initial stages of negotiation. I will make a formal announcement soon."

Criticized for her funny Hindi and English accent, Katrina has proved to work against all the criticism and has risen to be one of the best actresses of today. The actress is now waiting for the release of Ek Tha Tiger, where she stars opposite Salman Khan.
