It came as a major shock when news broke out about the young and talented Sushant Singh Rajput's death by suicide. Thousands of his fans and people across the nation were left in extreme grief over the 34-year-old actor's untimely demise. However, it set off quite a few speculations over his death with many people stating his depression to be the main reason behind such a drastic decision! Kangna has now released a video in which she has lashed out at those questioning Sushant's mental state, by asking how somebody who was an exceptional scholar and who could secure a scholarship to Stanford University be considered as mentally weak! She then went on to question why his performance in Kai Po Che was not acknowledged by anybody. Kangna further went on to ask how could a movie like Gully Boy win so many awards when Sushant's terrific performances in movies like MS Dhoni: The Untold Story and Chhichhore go unnoticed! She even referenced one of Sushant's earlier speeches where he appealed to the people to go watch his movies as he did not have a godfather within the industry!

Kangna Ranaut slams Bollywood attitude media for Sushant Singh Rajput death

Kangna Ranaut also went on to ask why the industry has not acknowledged her work and the films she has directed (Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi)! She very strongly expressed her distaste against the biased journalists and media who had been writing negatively about Sushant. Kangna also questioned how the same media which had been slamming Sushant's alleged drug usage turn a blind eye to Sanjay Dutt's drug addiction or find it to be rather cute! She even mentioned that some media people had been writing to her, asking if she is having similar thoughts like Sushant and blasted such people for "trying to put ideas into her head!" Kangna went on to say that Sushant's fault was that he forgot what his mother had told him but believed the people who told him he was worthless. Kangna wrapped up her nearly 2-minute long video with a strong statement telling, "Now it is up to us to decide who will write the history!"
