Turning a successful producer with Vicky Donor, actor John Abraham is planning his next production venture, Jaffna.

Directed by Shootjit Sircar, John is planning to rope in Malayalam superstar, Mohanlal in the film, which narrates the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam's (LTTE) activities in Sri Lanka, before it was decimated by the Sri Lankan Army, in 2009.

Talking about his success in turning producer, John says he intends to make more regional films, and is looking at producing a Marathi film soon.

John entered Bollywood with his debut film Jism in 2003. From films like Paap and Saaya, John also tried a hand in the comedy genre, by doing films like Garam Masala and his recent Housefull.

From actor to producer, the actor is looking at broadening his scope by turning a director, in future.
