PETA (People For Ethical Treatment Of Animals) India, truly feels the loss of actress Jiah Khan.

An active supporter of PETA, the actress is said to have loved animals. She used to live with her rescued cats. The actress even featured in one of their ads, wherein she urged the Indian Government to cut out glass-coated manja and not birds' wings. The ad also saw the actress cramped up in a small cage, to depict the plight of animals, in the zoo. Sachin Banera, the manager, Media and celebrity Projects, PETA India, spoke about how supportive Jiah was, towards supporting animals in distress. "In Mumbai, she lived with her cats whom she had rescued, She would always be on the lookout for animals in distress and would work to provide them relief. Jiah was a compassionate person," added Bangera.

Not just PETA, but the whole of the film fraternity deeply mourns the death of the 25-year-old actress, who was known for films like Nishabd, Ghajini and Housefull.

May her soul rest in peace.
