Happy Birthday Salman Khan!

The bad boy of Bollywood, Salman Khan, turns 45 today and somehow, looking at him, it appears to be the wrong number! Looking as dashing and handsome as he was 20 years ago, Salman continues to be one of Bollywood's most loved and most envied stars. And with Dabaang (the highest grosser of 2010) he has become the 'big boss' of Bollywood.

His filmography is a mixture of spectacular hits and box office duds, but success and failure have never really hampered the phenomenal impact of his star power.

But a Salman Khan story can never be complete without a mention of his real life misadventures. He has broken the law more than once, allegedly roughed up his girlfriends, fought with his seniors, co-stars and juniors and has practically done everything else to wreck his career. But Salman still remains as one of the most loved personalities and one of the biggest draws in the industry. You can love him. You can hate him. But, there is no ignoring Prem (Salman's favourite onscreen name). Salman Khan really stands up for himself and for what he thinks he believes in! He is the real macho man with a golden heart.

Salman made his debut in a supporting role in Biwi Ho To Aisi (1988), but it was the spectacular commercial success of his first solo lead Maine Pyar Kiya in 1989 that capitulated him into the big league and paved his way to stardom. Some of his memorable films includes Saajan, Karan Arjun, Hum Aapke Hain Koun, Judwa, Pyar Kiya to Darna Kya, Hum Saath Saath Hain, Kamoshi, Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Mujshe Shaadi Karoge, Tere Naam, No Entry, Partner and Wanted.

That brings us to a very interesting observation. Did you guys realize that the three Mighty Khans were all born in 1965? And that means they all turn 45 this year! Aamir is the big bro of the three! He turned 45 on 14th March, SRK turned 45 on Nov 2 and today Sallu hits 45! The Perfectionist, the Prince Charming and the Big Boss have more things in common than they might even realize! Happy 45 to the Khans!
