In a shocking incident, a woman in Ukraine has been blacklisted from flying after she walked onto an aircraft’s wing upon raising complaints about the heat inside. In its statement, Ukraine International Airlines stated that the woman "opened the emergency exit and went on to its wing" after the airplane landed in the Ukrainian city of Kiev, The Sun reported. The woman, a mother-of-two, had allegedly complained about the heat on the Boeing 737-86N aircraft after its arrival in Kiev from Turkey. She then opened an emergency exit and walked onto its wing in order 'to get some air'.

According to reports, a fellow passenger on the flight is quoted to have said, "The aircraft landed and almost all the passengers got off. She walked almost all the way from the tail to the emergency exit row, opened the door and went out." The person added, "By that time, her two children were outside the plane and standing right next to me. They were surprised, saying: 'This is our mum'."

Footage of the woman casually strolling on the wing of the aircraft has since gone viral on social media. The incident was confirmed by officials at the Boryspil International Airport in Kiev, while Ukraine International Airlines in its statement said the woman has been "blacklisted". UIA said, "The passenger was blacklisted for gross violation of aviation safety rules and behaviour on board,".

Furthermore, the woman has been told to pay a high fine by the airline. No explanation was provided by the woman over her actions, apart from her statement that she had felt hot inside the aircraft. The woman was confirmed to be not intoxicated after tests were conducted by medical officials and health authorities.
